RE: "cheap" 929s?
yeah 600rr is more wanted by newer riders because they love the look of the high seat, unertail pipe, and split headlight. When i was first starting i loved the 600rr and now i would never buy one ! 600rr isnt that fast and is very small compared to the 929 just newer and more desired by new riders who are willing to pay top dollar because they dont know any thing aboyt bikes

RE: "cheap" 929s?
the 929's are almost 9 years old so price wise they will be getting cheaper. and this is the offseason so they should be had for less. I bought mine in late august on ebay and I may have paid too much. however if I factor in the mods that the previous owner has done then I would save in the long run as the mods are worth atleast over $2k.

RE: "cheap" 929s?
hmm..because with the price difference, i might as well start looking at 929s instead of 600rrs.
besides power and cosmetic differences, what are the differences? is the 929 still as "track friendly" as the 600? how much larger is it?
yes. n00b. sorry
im finding 929rr's for like 5k or so, and 600s for about the same or more. i dont mind if its an "old" bike, they still look awesome to me. i mean lol come on, i paid 25k for a now 13 year old Toyota

the 929 makes over 300cc more power obviously and are a little more beefy size wise as well. the 929 might be more comfortable as well because the newer 600's are less forgiving and have less padding and a more aggressive posture. the 929 correct me if I'm wrong also has more top speed. you'll pay more to insure this bike.

it will still give new 600's a slap in the face. you dont have radial mounted calipers but it still is FI and moves...also there is somthing about a person owning a 900 style cbr...you dont see as many of them and when ya do normaly they are freaking nice or tricked out!
