Chain Length For Upgrading Sprockets
Hey guys! I'm not sure if this has already been talked about, but I'm thinking of going up 2 teeth on the rear sprocket. I've already went down one tooth in the front. What I want to know is, will I need to get a longer chain to accomodate the bigger rear sprocket?? Or is the change so small that it will still work with the chain I have now. Also, who all is running the -1/+2 setup and how do you like it?? Thanks for any info!

Rear tire will sit close to the swing-arm. Pulling about 140 through a low water crossing though heading out towards Luckenbach will make the tire rub the swing arm and give you a nice gash all the way around the tire. Don't ask me how I know this... I will tell you that when I put my bike back together after paint (not from an accident), I'll be installing a longer chain.

Big Mike, yeah. I don't know how many links I had in my chain, just that I was -1 in the front and stock in the rear for a long time...(1 yr) prior to that I had done a new chain and sprocket so maybe the guys gave me a shorter one... I swapped out the rear sprocket like every other time and not much room in there. I've got to get a new chain.
