cbr 929rr photoshoot
These pictures are sick, first off. I have an entry level Nikon(D5000), I don't do too much with the speedlights and Neutral Density Filters and so forth. I mainly just point and shoot with a little bit of toying around What kind of speedlights are those in picture 11. Am I even using the right term??

The best off camera flashes you can buy are the yongnuo YN560's at around $70 a piece. Pick up a set of good triggers and you are good to go. speedlights (or flashes) are the correct term, strobes must plug into the wall or a battery pack but also deliver about 4 times more power (depending on watts per second).
i shot you my email if you wanna talk more nerdy stuff

i'll probably be getting out this week to shoot a bit more, now that the roomate's bike is done.
one more from last night ; anyone want to nominate for me for bike of the month?

He most likely got them from E-Bay, and yes, they bolt right up. Easy to wire too.
