These pictures are sick, first off. I have an entry level Nikon(D5000), I don't do too much with the speedlights and Neutral Density Filters and so forth. I mainly just point and shoot with a little bit of toying around What kind of speedlights are those in picture 11. Am I even using the right term??

trey ; ps, i forgot these shots were done with my old 1dmk2N, which is only 8 megapixels.

The best off camera flashes you can buy are the yongnuo YN560's at around $70 a piece. Pick up a set of good triggers and you are good to go. speedlights (or flashes) are the correct term, strobes must plug into the wall or a battery pack but also deliver about 4 times more power (depending on watts per second).

i'll probably be getting out this week to shoot a bit more, now that the roomate's bike is done.

nice looking bike. were did you get your turning signals from and did they bolt right up

He most likely got them from E-Bay, and yes, they bolt right up. Easy to wire too.
