Default Burnt valve

I recently purchased a 2001 CBR 929 and was told it had a burnt valve. I have several motors for parts. Is it possible to swap out the top end in order to fix the burn valve? Is the valve located in the upper part of the motor or do I need to do a complete teardown?

Valve is in head above engine.

Replacing entire head is easiest, but that head must be tested and confirmed in good condition. It might have even more burnt valves than one in engine.

Easiest and fastest to remove engine from bike to replace head.

Thanks for the tip. I have 2 parts bikes and an extra motor. One threw rod through the mid case, Another I got on Ebay for $1300. Installed and after about 2 min a loud thwap noise and a chunk of aluminum in the oil pan. Yes it had oil in it. The other one I bought with a cracked lower case. Bought one and gave to pro bike mechanic to rebuild and he died half way through doing the job. So I got it back in a box half apart. Then I bought a "RUNNING" 929 that needed a different ECU which I had 3 of from the seller of the first one that eventually threw a rod due to a major brain fart from me. Anyways he gave me a ton of parts with the bike for $400. So recently my buddy was tight on money and sold me his 929 for $1,000 that has a burnt valve but a ton of upgrades like real carbon fiber replacement parts to lighten it up as well as professional mapping done with original OEM fairings Red Bull Edition and a black frame that he paid $4,500 for.
