BRAKES?????
well my bike was making a funny noise kind of a light humish sound when I presses on the front brakes so I assummed it was telling me 'hey you need new front brakes' but when I pulled the calipers off to check and change them, I found that the pads where in pretty good condition, actually they showed almost no wear.
the pad that I removed were the HH stintered EBC pads, which I thought were in the top of line of pads and the rear brake pad which made no noise, was almost at the metal!!!
so are EBC pads good pads for everyday riding?
I replaced them with a complete set of kevlar pads, are these type of pads any good? as good as the EBC Hh pads, are they better? are they junk?
or does any of this matter?

did they hummm when they were hot? ebc is a good brake company. the more high performance pads will make noise if they are not warm cause they are prepared for harsh conditions.
that might be a reason for the noise, if its like cars you have to have rotors that compliment the pads, if they are high performance pads. my buddys g35 squeals like crazy because of his pads and rotors. they are aftermarket and meant for extreme conditions, if they arenot hot they sound like they need to be replaced. I wish I knew a lot about this subject but just givin my two cents because i was told not to upgrade just the pads, supposed to do everything, pads, rotors, lines. hopefully it makes sense. also no one else replied so i figured my advice might help some.
The bike stops fine, the wheel spins ok too. I bought the EBC HH's from the Honda dealer,I did ask them if the more aggressive pads would be bad for the stock rotors and they said it wouldn't be a problem.
