Bouncing rpm's and FI light
I think this is my first post on here, but I've been lurking for a while now, but finally have a problem.....I've got an '01 929 with about 14000 miles on it. Bike has always run fine with no problems at all, but the other day went to rip down my street hit about 8000 rpm's then it just completely fell off. Got back to the house and just grabbed a hand full and the rpm's would reach approx. 8000 then just bounce down to almost 3000... this is when it throws an FI light and the red signal light...still runs perfect as long as I don't get too high in the rpm's. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks!
