This has to be my worst riding season thus far. My problem is whenever my bike reaches 3k rpm my main fuse blows. I just got it out the shop on the 25th for a new stator and starter solenoid and now this. Full disclosure my fuse did pop before I took it to the shop but I thought the new stator or starter solenoid would fix it. The shop SUCKS, of course I learned that after having my bike there. They cant seem to locate the problem and they aren't really working at it. When they had it for the stator and solenoid, they had it for 21 days!!!!!!!!! I need help, I'm dying to ride.

 

What's the charging voltage at 3k RPM? Why didn't they replace the regulator also? Idiots.

 

I replaced the rectifier a few months before having the stator done. I cant check voltage at 3k because as soon as my needle hits 3k the fuse blows.

 

Watch the voltage as it approaches 3k. You are trying to determine if it's overcharging.
