Constant blown starter fuse

Default Constant blown starter fuse

well the tittle says it all. i have no crank and whenever i try to turn her over the starter fuse gets blown. can anyone point in the right direction of were to look? o just replaced the starter relay and that wasnt it. at this point im lost. any help anyone?? thanks

The same thing happened to me, i just replaced the fuse twice, and made sure the connection was really tight, and I've been good so far...

Yes, but make sure the housing is also tight... this is the connection you undue to get to the fuse...

i has a chance to check the connection today, that wasnt it. any other suggestions?

if u guys are talking about that relay thats right by the pos side of the batt has a 30 amp fuse in it i got the same problem but mine is every time i put a new fuse in and reconnect the neg side of the batt it pops right away people say its a short but i dont see one so if u figure urs out let me know thanks

have you guys looked at the R/R (regulator/ratifier) (sp?) it's going to be the yellow wires. there are three of them. look for anything that is out of place.

that was one of the first things i took a look at, everything seems normal. no wear what-so-ever. im going to take a look at the spark plugs today, one of them seems to be loose, just crossing my fingers................
