manual says its 3.9 liters of oil with filter change.

don't try to correct what doesn't need correcting!!!

At drainning 3.5L (3.7 US qt, 3.1 Imp qt)

at disassembly 4.0L (4.2 US qt, 3.5 Imp qt)

at oil filter change 3.7 (3.9 US qt, 3.3 Imp qt)

and that is from the manual!!!!

Acceptable ohm resistence of the 3p natural wiring for the stator and rectifier is .01 ~ 1.00

My stator just went on me so I replaced it based on that info.

This tests and verifys if your stator or rectifier are working or within acceptable electrical tolerances.
