RE: Tomorrow- D-day.
I had some shoulder "issues" a few years ago: bone spur and a small SLAP tear. The pain was annoying but I could manage it. After a year or two of constant pain, though, I finally got the ****s of it and went to the doctor to get something done about it. The surgery was no big deal (about an hour) and I came out with only a couple of holes in my right shoulder where the instruments went in. The recovery and pysical therapy was another matter. Couldn't even move it or take it out of a sling for 2 weeks and then had almost 2 months of PT to get it back up to almost full function. Looking back on it I'm glad as hell I did it. I've got almost 100% mobility and strength back and best of all, NO PAIN!!
I wish you luck jdschmidt and hope it's nothing! But if it isn't, I'd get it fixed. You're much too young to go through the rest of your life with things not working 100%.
