I love how mine comes alive above 7000 rpms. It can actually be kinda quiet under 5000. (but maybe that's just on mine)

shortly after i started this thread i bought a black d&d from a forum member (great price and condition if anyone wants it), but it dosent fit. it has the standard 3 mounting bolts on the bottom of the can, while mine has a full system (4 small screws on side of the can and a spring attaching it to the mid pipe) it also exits from more under the swngarm and has a steeper angle up to about rear turn signal height. the can is an oval shape that is cambered in, not square. it also has more of a titanium look to he midpipe and header but im pretty sure it has the HTEV still in place ive seen other 929rr's with this but no one has any idea what it is or which ones came with them. if anyone has input on this it would be appreciated. ill post pics tomorrow when i go ride it

 

Sounds like you might have some kind of high mount half system....
