so i just sold my f2 and bought a 00' 929 and am really missing a loud exhaust. my f2 had a yoshi shorty on it. I kno this sounds ricerish(?) but im going mostly 4 looks and ungodly noise on this one. so what pipe would be good, and i partial to shorty exhaust. any imput would be great. Thanks

 

I have a hindle on mine and i love the sound. but my buddy has a d&d and if you are just wanting the loudest then i would reccomend d&d.

 

I've also heard the D&D is obnoxious if that's what you want.

 

D&D are loud as all hell. I've got a scorpion Carbon Fiber slip on that has a small hole on the bottom I need to get rid of. Let me know if you interested.

 

thanks 4 the input. i was looking at hindle, but then i heard my buddys 954 with a full Arata system and i need one so bad, they sound so clean but are still pretty loud. the only thing that sucks is they cost $1500. i was thinkin about havin a local shop run it under the tail but ill start a new post for that one

I found a guy selling a system missing a couple of parts in Cali. He sold that for $450, and it took A LOT of searching until I found someone who had the connections to get the missing parts I needed straight from Japan. All in all, the system probably cost me around $600 which is about right. I love it though!! This thing flows so much air!! The midpipe is HUGE!!

The guy I bought it from also had the can shortened professionally, so I think it looks even better. The badge was moved over too to compensate for the band placement.

i had a jardine bolt on muffler on my 929 for a while it was the loudest pipe i ever heard on any bike, real deep too, but about a year ago i bought a full system from hindle and thats on the bike now, its actually quieter than the bolt on jardine can. i figured the hindle system would be louder because of less restriction but i guess not. so if your going for the cheapest route to the loudest pipe i would buy a jardine bolt on. i also have the jardine can still anyone wanna buy it?
