I have an Erion 929 and was thinking of adding a 2003 Honda RC51 1000 V-twin to the stable..lol.. Has anyone here rode a RC51? How does it compare to the 929? I know its heavier and has more torque, but other than that?

 

I've never rode one, but I'd say if you have a chance to get a good one, go for it!! I wish I had the cash to get one!! They're pigs!!

 

i rode my friends 03' with a 2 into 1 jardine. I definitely like my erion better but im more comfortable on it i love the RC's but my wrists were hitting the gas tank a lot and really wasn't super impressed with its low gear pull but its a very smooth pull. all in all if i had the money i would buy an rc cause i love em so much but dont expect to blow anything away in the straight line

 

i have a 929 and have ridden an rc51 several times, and although I love the v-twin sound and low rpm torque, the thing is an absolute pig!

 

yeah no comparison in my book...you need a 6,000.00 HRC kit to make the RC run like a 929, very cool looking and a good concept, but total lack of power. Def not in the bang for the buck catagory. I have rode beat up old 600's that pull harder
