Default 929 or cbr 1000rr

Trying to decide between a 00' 929 with 10K miles and a 04' 1000rr with 4k - bout a thousand $ difference in price in-between the 2.

What do you guys think? I was leaning towards the 1000rr but not sure if I will like the under the seat exhaust.

1000RR for me. 929 is nice but I would easily spend another 1000 to get the newer bike. The undertail exhaust will come in handy on those cold days. Even in the south where it is hotter than Hades the undertails are not that big of a deal, when your going fast. Sitting in traffic would heat things up a bit.

The 1000 is worth almost 2k more, so either the 929 is priced too high, or the 1000 is going for a deal. Or something in between. Have you tested both out? What condition are they in, and what kind of rider owned them? I would take the 929, not because I have one, but because it's different. Unless it's trashed and the 1000 is mint. But then again I bought mine trashed for $100 and spent another $1500 making it a bike... I might not be the best person to answer this after all.

I own a 929 and done some miles on a 1000.
The 1000 is not as comfortable as the 929 for longer runs but turns and switches direction heaps quicker both have there ups and downs but they are both Honda's so you can't go wrong
