thanks for the reference. although the newer swingarm is significantly more atttractive, i would have hoped for a greater technological benfit. still, if one is bothered enough to improve minor components such as anodized fooot pegs, then the swingarm conversion is understandable. anyone know roughly how much a 954 swingarm could be sourced from?

you should be able to get a 954 swingarm and mount for around $50-$75 on ebay

if its cheap enough and available, then its similar to people changing fenders and blinkers. its purely aesthetic. no worries, not really something i'm hell bent on doing anyway. thanks for the information
