929 2 coils not getting spark

Default 929 2 coils not getting spark

Ok so the bike don't start. Fuel primes #1 and 2 coils have spark but 3 and 4 do not. How do I fix that is it just the coils that are bad or is it more than that plz help......

Switch out the coils and see if the problem moves with the coils. This will tell you if the problem is with the coils or something else. If the problem stays with #3&4 cylinders then check the wires and connections on the injector harness.

If the problem stays with 3 and 4, Check for power and the ground signal from the ecu. Hard to believe that 2 coils went out at the same time.

How are you checking for spark?

I took out the plug and coil put it against the frame and checked I'm going to switch coils then check it again

I just bought a 929 200 and trying to get it started for the first time. old spark plugs were donzos. The new spark plugs in and it started up, but its rattling. the resistance on coils were 1.9, 2.0, 3, 3 so I think I have two misfires. Would a double misfire sound like knocking? I just bought it and dont want to buy new coils just to get it started. the rattle was concerning but the exhaust servo was disconnected, still has the air flap so I dont think anybody changed it. so Im hoping the motor is not shot...
