Hey guys Im really trying to find an 01 Erion bike. The only problem is when I do find one people want 6 grand for them?!?!?!?! I mean is this normal? The bike is 10 years old I dont care how nice it is, when I can go buy an 08 or newer for the same price why would I do that?

I am just curious what kind of price ballpark I should be looking at. I know BOOK is like $3500 but people will have their own opinions about that.

man go on craigslist.org or something. I bought mine about a little over a year ago with 11k miles for a little over $4k. You can find them cheap if you look, but of course not as cheap as GSXR's lol.

price range = $2500 - $5000 depending on the miles and condition

Yeah thanks man but I have been watching craigslist and ebay every single day. I have found a few and they have like 12K miles on them and they are asking 6 grand for it??? Im like wait the bike is 10-11 years old thats 2/3 the price of a brand new one screw that!

 

I bought mine for a lil under 4k, 18k miles, good condition.

Just for reference, I bought mine in Nov 2001 (2000 929), from a guy for $5500, with 3,7XX miles on it. IMHO, I would not exceed $4750. Erion Editions are still my favorite though! :-)

 

1BAD14 might be looking to sell the one he just got back after it was stolen. Maybe he'll give you a deal and you can make a project of it. I'm not sure what it's missing but it won't be $6k. If you like ratty naked bikes I have mine up for sale for $2k as well. It's mechanically fine and runs like a cruise missile to Baghdad :P
