check it out ur good, even my 954 says 900rr even on the frame with the vin. everything u order should be for a 929 they just use 900 cuz that is the series of bikes. regardless of what u hear or are told u have a 2000 Honda CBR 929RR, they stop makin the CBR900RR in 1999. the 929RR was built for 2000, and 2001. there are many parts that are interchangeable wit the 2002 and 2003 CBR 954RR and 2000 and 2001 CBR 929. if ur lookin to get a windscreen next make sure u get a 929 windscreen cuz they are not interchangeable wit the 954 or 900.
