So, like many of you, i have been trolling these forums for ideas on an undertail. I have found some good deals but the color doesnt always match the yellow that I want.

I do have access to a paint gun so I want to know where I can buy some paint to spray with that will match. Any ideas on a color code or place to buy that will give me the best match?

 

A paint supplier in my area has a scanner that matches color based on looking up the stock code and analyzing a sample. It corrects for any fading and really works well. I got paint for a replacement hood and fender on my 21y/o 4runner and it matched perfectly. Maybe call a few places and see what they can do.

 

www.colorrite.com has what you need. Just search for your bike and they will list the color codes.

 

The Honda yellow you want is a two part color, base and top coat. From colorrite's website your color is below. You need both for the color to match.Y124P Pearl Shining Yellow

I appreciate all the input guys. I ended up buying a prepainted yellow ermax hugger and a new prepainted mototeck undertail. I didnt want to deal with having to paint after all the process.
