Default What kind of tire should i get?

I have an 01 CBR929RR and right now i have a full bore M3 track tire on the rear but i'm not happy with it. I wanting something that's going to stick when I'm going around curves. I'm looking at getting a Michlin pilot power tire, or a Dunlop Sportmax Q2 tire. What do yall think?

I personally like Michelin's and have ran Pilot Power 2CT's before switching to Michelin Pure's on my 954. My buddy has a 929 and has ran Bridgestone BT016's with great results. I have no experience with the Dunlop Q2's. Michelin Pilot Power, Pilot Power 2CT's or Bridgestone BT016's will give you all the grip you need on curvy roads. I tend to get better mileage out of Michelin's than my buddy does from Bridgestone's.

+1 on the BT-016

Lots of grip for track days, but I leave it on for street too. Never tried the 2CT's but have heard good things about them too.

The profile of the tyre is important I had rennsports a while ago and I thought they were great but they wear out quick if your riding straight down the road got 3000ks out of them on the twisties and then stuffed them doing 300ks on a concrete highway ended up with square edges, tyre pressure is the most important for the twisties

What feels good to one person wont feel the same to me and u. Find what u like. I like continental attacks more than pp's, bridgestone, and metzer.

Yea pimpin and I have tended to agree on in the past that the continentals work for us..

I like the Conti Force max compared to the Dunlop q2s

Contis on left, dunlops on right...

(reason why I have such a good comparison is because the NEW dunlops got a nail in them after a week of riding.. and i replaced it with the conti)
