Default 2 into 1 exhaust and air filters

So I am using a 929 in a dirt bike frame for hillclimbing. I am experiencing an issue where I get a hesitation/cough when letting off the throttle and getting back on it or landing from jumps, etc. while climbing. I am wondering if this could be caused by me running my exhaust pipes as 2 sets of 2 into 1 straight pipes or running 2 into 1 Uni air filters on my throttle bodies? I never noticed this issue before I changed these things. Thank you

Are you running an airbox or just direct air filters?

Mine is a custom build, therefore I do not use the cable you are referring to and cannot get you the measurement.
