I just picked up a 929 with 18K on it. I have no idea if the previous owner had the valve clearance checked and the dealer can't get any info from him either.

So, those that have had it done have any ever needed an adjustment at 16K? I know the newer CBR's wait till 32K so I wonder if they found 16 to be too early. I'd hate to take the time to do it or spend the money on it if it really can wait.
