01 929rr speedometer help!

I bought a used speed sensor on ebay two months ago and never put it in. I was trying everything to not replace my speedometer but had to anyway. So I know I can't sell it on here so as a gift from one fellow to another you can email me your address and I will mail it. Bikes with problems are fun!

Just got back from riding around a little. Could it still be a messed up speed sensor even if it reads a MPH then goes to 0 and stays their...then randomly jumps to the Correct MPH, but pretty much stays at 0mph

Got it. I failed to bring with me today will mail Monday, unless I can figure out my headlight issue, then I will ride into town tomorrow and mail it. Let me know when you get it if it helps.
