Default 00 929

Hey new to the forum and just wanted to say whats up. I am looking for information on the best low cost mods for the 929. I already have a Micron full exhaust, and 16T Front sprocket, 45T rear sprocket. Any help from the pros out there would be appreciated.

Hello and Welcome

To add to your bike you can go with a BMC race air filter. These filters flow more than stock filters and are reusable. Installation takes about 10 minutes if you have the fairings off.. I noticed a smooth acceleration and quicker throttle response. The two versions are race and street. The race version requires mapping (pc3) because of the increased airflow.

The flapper mod is a good mod as well. Here is an explanation, for a 954 but same principle for 929:

Good Luck.

The farings have nothing to do with changing your air filter. All you have to do is prop up your gas tank.

I have been doing a lot of mods on my 929 but not for speed because we all know it really is fast enough
I started with new seat then new bars with weighted inserts with spider grips and boy what a differance
New pegs really helped and then a taller windscreen

The only real perforance parts I added was to totally upgrade the brake system with new pads brake lines and high grade
brake fluid.
