Which wiring harness for my bike?

RE: Which wiring harness for my bike?
Got the call from Honda today.
It's done. [&o]
Gonna pick it up tomorrow. They said they repaired the wiring harness. Let's hope everything is fine.
I just hope my rectifier/regulator wasn't damaged by the stator.
What do you guys think? Honda recommended I change it too, but I wonder if they were just trying to make more $$$

There's no 50/50 in this MT, if the rectifier able to produce constant sufficient voltage then I can't find a reason to change it. Just be sure why exactly Honda wants it to be replaced. Maybe they want the whole system to be in perfect condition so you won't be able to point finger at them if anything crap out within a few days.
Good luck MT.

RE: Which wiring harness for my bike?
Yes Dinez, I think they wanted it replaced so they could know everything was 100%.
In addition to the new stator and harness, they advised I replace these:
-Starter Replay
-Rectifier
The bike starts just fine, so I saw no need to replace that relay. The r/r I just bought a few months ago. It was charging my bike just fine, no overcharging issues.
Thanks Dinez. I just hope, just hope they did a good job with fixing the harness.

RE: Which wiring harness for my bike?
Dinez and everyone,
Well I rode the bike home tonight and it seemed fine.
The mechanic wrote in the notes that the bike charges at 14.2 vdc and it starts, idles and runs normally.
Now, there is something a bit strange added to my bike's stator.
There are now two yellow wires that lead to the stator and I don't ever remember seeing that before. Looks like the mechanic did a little modifications on his own and added the wires. I don't know why it looks that way.
Now, I haven't taken this bike for an extended ride or anything and I probably never will take it on a huge bike ride (100 plus motorcycles) ever again, I don't wanna take that chance.
I also need to test the battery with a voltmeter and the charging system too.
Thanks to everyone for your help and advice and for staying with this thread!
Oh forgot, total cost:
-Honda repaired the wiring harness
-Installation of new stator and gasket that I supplied to them
- $398

RE: Which wiring harness for my bike?
Well that is good news MT!
Maybe those wires were the replaced one and he might had put a different color. As long as the charging output is constant, I don't think you need to worry. Just do a random check every week to be certain.
Please don't restrict your self from going out there in the road.. be it alone or with the big group. Come on man, problem like this can happen to anyone.
Have a safe and happy riding, and say aloha to the Hawaiian chicks near the beach for me!

Thanks Dinez!
Yes, I will give those ladies a wave for you
My first real ride will hopefully be Monday, my day off and my wife will be at work. I hope to ride all day, for a couple hours.
The oil was changed just before it went to the shop, so it has fresh, clean fluids!
I may try to go on a group ride again, after I feel confident the system really is good to go!
