Default RE: What are the bads of a worn rear sprocket?

Can anyone tell me what kind of rear sprocket I have and is it still good?

Is it the type of rear sprocket that gives me higher top speed or more low end torque?

If not, is it too dangerous for me to keep using?

What about the front sprocket? I think this is a DID chain.

If that is right on the sprocket, it's a 16/46.That would be +3 in the rear which is equal to -1 up front. I would ditch the clip master link for a rivet style and replace it if the teeth are broken off now, if they are just a little bent you could get by for a while but i would make it a priority.

More torque is what that will give you.

The rear is 46; 3 more than stock and the front is 16 (stock)

The chain and front sprocket still looks ok but the rear sprocket is worn out.

Its not dangerous yet but I believe the settings of the sizes are out order.

Its not going to give you high end speed but pretty much of good acceralation.

No the teeth are not broken off on either sprocket.

Thanks for the diagnosis!

I'm going to leave it for the time being and order new sprockets and a chain.

What brands do you recommend? Is it better to get them all together in a kit or seperately?

Mix and match brands?
