Default What Adjustable Levers to buy?

Hey guys,

Just got a 1999 CBR 900RR This weekend off one of my good friends. I am looking to get some adjustable levers for it and also grips. I am looking for suggestions on what brand/company to get the levers from since there is so many options out there.

Thanks

you will be fine with the china levers off ebay, theyre almost exactly the same as any 'name' brand levers, just grease the pivot joins and youll be good to go. as for grips, progrip gel grips are great, and pretty cheap.

I used to believe in using only brand name levers and for myself I'd never put that cheap garbage on any of my machines, but I've seen a lot of people use the china levers without any issues. My only suggestion is to make sure you adjust your cables and make sure the lever isn't putting any pressure on the master cylinder piston when all the way out as there have been reports that shoddy workmanship has caused premature brake fade because they slightly put pressure on the master cylinder piston causing the brakes to always be engaged.
