ok, i have a 99 900rr, and the guy i got it from said it was a 99, but the gauges are from before 98, does anyone know how to find out if the bike is a 99 with the wrong gauges or its a earlyer model and i was lied too? anything about the vin i can check >?

 

There are many honda motorcycle vin decoders out on the web. Just google it. I found out that my 99 900 was made and put together in japan.
