Tires
I like Dunlop 218 are good for wet/ dry weather riding. They take a little time to heat up but they're still good for hitting corners in the dry and very good for wet weather traction.
Powers are also a great tire and ride with them in the rain but I prefer them in the dry.

I've always had good luck with the Dunlops also. The 208ZR's were good in the rain, the Q's better. I've read the the Pirelli Diablo's are kick *** in the wet and I KNOW they are good in the dry. The Powers are probably good as well. A "sport" tire or anything that's not a Super Sport tire will work good as they are designed to not need a lot of heat to work properly.
I was told by a vendor of mine today that Shinkos are a re-named Yokohama. It seems Yoko wanted to drop the moto tires and some engineers split to form Shinko after buying the molds and stuff. If so, they should be pretty good.
Im a DUNLOP guy . I ride D208ZR's great tire. The new SportMax GP tire and the Qualifier Sport Radial are great tires. I live in florida and run in alot of rain never had a problem . When my 208's run out of life im going with the Qualifier's . But here is some othe good options.. Michelin- Pilot Power's.. And the Metzeler Sporttec M-3 High-Performance Supersport's..And the Bridgstone Battlax BT-014 Ultra High Performance's.... I dont know anyone who rides Pirelli's so i dont really have anything to say about them... Hope this help's
