just put a set of sportec m3 metzeler tires on my '93 RR. what great tires!!! i ran the old sportec m1 and these new ones are night and day better. tires warmed up quickly and never showed signs of overheating, greasy, the whole ride. great feedback in full lean. super stable at speed. i run the pilot powers on my VFR, and i would say these tires are as good if not better. very confidence inspiring!!! $225 for the set off ebay, too beat...............

 

Yeah, I've heard very good things about the m3's. Glad you like 'em!

 

Also the new dunlop qualifier is a great tire, I havent tested the M3's yet tho, but heard good things about them.

 

i have a set of dunlop qualifier on my '06 zx10r. they're good tires, but my only complaint is they push pretty bad until they fully heat up. once they're hot they're great. another thing was these tires felt to overheat after an hour or so of hard riding, on the street. i was very surpised with rear tire traction. the zx10r feels planted under acceleration (no more powerslides, lol).

Back to the sportec m3. they heat up almost immediatley. and like i posted before, they never overheat. i have just 1000 miles on them and still no compliants. my choice would be the m3 over the qualifier..............

just sold my '01 M900ie dark to buy the '06 zx10r. i do miss it, but i still have my '95 900SP. i rarely ride it, but since i just exploded the transmission in my '93 cbr900rr i'll have more time on it.

believe it or not my CBR is my favorite bike, always has been......................
