Default throttle respone issue?

Hey i have a 99 CBR900RR
wheni first got it, it ran like a dream-
I crashed it in August, it was all cosmetic, the worst of it was it went down hard and snapped a handlebar, peg, scratched the crap out of the pipe, and ground through the clutch cover, but no other damage was done- all fixed now-my problem is the bike seems to bog when i grap the throttle off the line, it bogs down than all of a sudden explodes with power? i put new plugs in it, and that helped some- but it still isnt the same, i cant even get her to wheelie withoutdumpinthe clutch- is there something i might have done internally when i went down? it was a high speed crash- but it went down and just skidded? I was going to sync the carbs but my mechanic at work said they were fine?
otherwise what can i do to improve the throttle reponse- i plan on piping, jetting, and new KN airfilter this winter, but what else should i do?

stupid thought but when i replaced the clip on, i had to fight with the twist throttle to get it off the remaining handle for about an hour twisting it every which way, doing that can u screw up something- im at a loss for what could be wrong with it?

make sure your throttle & clutch freeplay are adjusted correctly...

Since all of this has happened post accident then you have to go over all the damage that was done and start with that. THe throttle is a good start. Its possible that you crimped the throttle cable and maybe when you twist the throttle it takes a little more effort to start its pull and that is the bog. If the throttle is smooth then don't rule out carb issues. Carbs can be a pretty fragile, especially the floats and they're valves. If you went over hard enough you could technically knowck something out of adjustment. Also, if you think about it the carbs are alwasy sitting the same way on a bike, so any debris settle at the bottle of the float bowls. When you went over sideways it possible that you jarred something into the pilot jet on one carb. Take the bike out on your street, and give it a full throttle pass in first then cut the engine right away. Then pull the plugs and see if any of them look different then the others. That will indicate a mis-tune on one carb. Also, make sure all vaccumn lines are still connected. This problem could be the result of the accident, or when you were repairing all the dmage maybe you overlooked re-connecting somthing. Start with this and update as you go so we can rule out stuff. Good luck.

I'd check the carbs to make sure they're not out of sync. It's easy and quick.
