Default Tail Light Stays Bright

Just seeing if anyone knows how to fix this problem..My taillight stay bright like im always on the brakes when im not...Just looking for some input...thanks

It sounds like 1 of the brake light switches is stuck on, The rear is adjustable and is attached to the brake pedal with a spring. I would start by unhooking the spring and see if the light goes back to normal, If so you can adjust the nut on the switch to shorten the pull and that should solve your problem. The front switch is on the brake perch and is not adjustable, It could be dirty but your problem is usually the rear adjustment on the RR's

check the front brake switch that it's contacting the brake lever. or try to pull up on rear brake lever if that helps then adjust it,

i had the same problem and it was driving me crazy..turns out that it was because the previous owner swapped out the front brake lever but not the housing....so the front break switch wasnt hittin the brake lever. i cant afford to replace it with the right one so i just disconnected the lead going to the switch adjusted the rear so i could hit the rear brake pedal without the rear brakes engaging that way when i hit the front breaks i just lightly tap the rear
