Default Sprocket size and 520? Install and where?

I'm thinking about goin with a little quicker sprocket set.. I ride mostly back roads(40-60 mph) . Should I go with 520 1 down 2 up? or is that going to be too much? I pull the wheel up everyonce in a while but don't have a whole lot of time up there. Would like to do this with less effort- I need a new chain anyway.. so I figured I might upgrade.. Is Ebay a bad source for these parts ?

Looking for a reasonable priced setup- How much is installation usually??

Default RE: Sprocket size and 520? Install and where?

I went 520 -1 on my 99 and liked it.......I only went +2 on the rear of my GSX-R and like that too so ......between the two I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it. -1 +2 would be fun on a 900RR. It WILL come up much easier/at slower speeds.

I got mine from Kneedraggers.com. Came as a "quick acceleration" kit. That one only comes -1 so you will have to order your parts seperate......but again, Kneedraggers has always been good to me.

Installation is free if you do it yourself. I couldnt tell you what it costs, I've never taken a bike in.

Good luck.
