I have a 98 900rr, it is bone stock - the pipe. I am wondering if anyone here as done a total rebuild? The bike has about 55k miles on it needless to say the bike has seen better days. I love the look of the bike but now I can't even ride it due to clutch,front seals,tranny and so on. I love the bike but is it worth a rebuild considering a new bike goes for $12,000?

I don't know yet, I found a guy with a 1997 with 10,000 on it badely crashed so I might build that motor and throw it in.
