Default Rearsets problems on a 893 900rr

Hi guys, first post! I recently picked up some danmoto rearsets secondhand, no there not the best but the reviews didn't seem to bad. The issue is the push rod and the brake cycliner don't line up very well so there kinked. Any ideas guys or am I missing something? Thanks

I know that different years have different brake cylinder / brake **** set up.
I think maybe the 95 is different than the 92-94, for example.
I had to do a repair once (a long time back) and have a distant memory that...different years have different set-ups. And I don't know if sellers are aware of this subtle difference, so they may think that the years are the same.
Hard to explain, but I've been there; I think you are suffering from different year incompatibility issues.

Yeah I think you may be right, they state they fit year 94-99. Gilles sell them for £360 saying they fit from 95-99 but think I presume I may have the similar issue with them..
Not sure what to do next other than fabricate a bracket to straighten up the cylinder so it sits inline..not ideal I no. If anyone has had sucesss with 893 rearsets please drop the make, I'm having no luck searching online
Thanks
