To get the orange on my wheels to match the stripes they had to do a 2 stage coat with red over white to get the right color match. I think the guy did a good job. Unfortunately he quit doing powder coating.

Motleyfan: bike looks good man, yeah they did a great job matching it for you i always did like that color scheme. I thought about buying those exact rotors for mine, did they improve or hurt the braking ive heard mixed results???
Vin: red nut is a nice touch man looks great!

played around with fork tube today, came out good. Only problem I see is I think theres a oring between base and tube. I couldn't unscrew it to save my life... Going to experiment with a xtra set of rotors I got and see how the red turns out.Name: tube1_zps869f7b74.jpg

ambeos5,
I got similar rotors off ebay (never buy that cheap china made crap)
I had one almost come apart, they sent me new one so far so good. Their ok. I can hear a tick coming from them sometimes...When my pads wear out I'm getting a real set of rotors in black but look like stock.Name: rotor_zps5f51a18a.jpg

Vin: yeah so far im hearing more bad than good on those ebay rotors, the sound is just the sound floating rotors make but you are the 3rd person ive heard say that they are cracking or falling apart with little to no use on them, i may just stick with my stock ones until i can afford the nice EBC rotors. BTW fork base looks great!

Thanks..... The brakes seem fine to me. These were Galfer rotors that I got. Didn't trust the ebay stuff. Just as good as the stockers are on my RC51 as far as I am concerned.. Not sure if they improved the RR but they didn't hurt it and they look good.

I like Ambeos5 version of painting rotors. So I Sandblasted a stock rotor from gold to metal, threw 2 coats of the red powder I got here and came out good. I may try my other set and do them the black I got.
