just keep checking ebay and the classifieds on this site. Like I said, took me almost a year to find the right one. ebay is tough cause you ahve to make sure they took the wheel off a '93-'94, always ask for pictures of each side of the wheel hub, the one that takes the speedo gear will look different, a little deeper and most will still have the retainer in them that turns the drive gear. good luck!

A lot of shops where i live have spare 900rr parts or even complete 900rr bikes.

You never see them for sale or the parts for sale either, because I think the mechanics just forgot about them and are too busy working on bikes.

Here is an idea Mofun, try and call a bunch of small, motorcycle shops and simply ask them if they have what you need.

I will bet you'll get lucky and find what you need, it might be laying in the corner of a mechanic's garage somewhere...or the mechanic may have a friend who has the wheel you need.

And because the wheel you need may be laying in some corner of a mechanic's garage or home, and because it is forgotten and not for sale, you might be able to strike a good deal and take it off their hands for a lot less than a wheel that's been on ebay or craigslist for a while.

Just don't sound too desperate when you call, or they might jack up the price.

Sorry to keep posting this Mofun, but to give you an example....my friend told me that a mechanic where I live has a spare headlight for my 900rr and a few months ago, another local shop (small, non-dealer shops) put up a very nice, 900rr for sale.

So these rare bikes and their hard to find parts are out there! They are just laying around waiting to be bought!

I've been wanting a black 93-94 front rim for a while and can't find one either. Tried a 95 front wheel a while back and I know they don't fit for sure.
