Are they burnt? Brown and or black in some places? Or warped? If so.......they need replaced. Soak the frictions in oil before installing them too.

LOL......sent you a PM. I did OEM when I redid my 600, otherwise I stay away from the drag strip launches as I'm not a big fan of doing it, even though it's pretty easy.

well i dont like to give this out but it a little trix learned...... take your metals out and if there not burt or brown and you have a glass top table go get some 400 grit sand paper wet the back of the sand paper just a little and place it on the table... now makesure your metals are real clean and rub them in a circle motion on the paper about 4-6 circles each side if there's no dull spot your metal's there fine if its shinny then dull there warped toss them....

I tore the clutch apart and found out one of my friction plates came apart! I m guessin this was the clutch basket noise the dealership was hearing. my questin now is if I go ahead and get the complete kit, steels and all,do the steels need to go in a specific spot or just randomly in between the frictions like they came out
