RE: Parts for 1993 900rr needed!
Hey Dinez, good to hear from you!
Yes, I bought a new computer and the settings on the computer were blocking me from visiting this site. Arrgghhh!
Anyway, the problem is fixed, but yes now my baby is down again!
Big problems Dinez! But I'm probably gonna buy a new stator on ebay and the wiring harness from Honda. I don't think any other companies make wiring harnesses for the 1993 900rr anymore, only Honda. [&o]

sorry to hear about that wallet, but i agree w/ dinez. it cant possibly be the entire wiring harness! it is somewhere between the rectifier, stator, and coil. i would trouble shoot areas to weed out the bad spot.
but if you dont i know of someone that would be happy to take your bad wiring harness off of you hands (ME).
just a thought.

Thanks for the info Jon, now that you mention it I will make sure Honda gives me the old wiring harness, stator and any other parts
I'm sure the problem could be fixed for a lot less, but I guess Honda...like any other company...would rather just replace the entire part. Better for them I guess?

Divorced from dealers Dinez? I understand.
Jon, I actually think they look for the most expensive way to fix things, but then again they have to make sure the parts don't fail etc.
I dunno if you all will agree with what I'm gonna finally do, but I'm gonna bite the bullet and:
1. Order my own stator on ebay (new one from Cycle Tech)
2. Have the dealer order a new wiring harness
3. Have the dealer install both
4. Pay about $875 for everything
