also, can a bad battery cause the bike to stall and stutter when reved?
i don't think that the battery would have anything w/thebike stalling when being reved.

Yes, it's bad. Very bad. Unless of course you enjoy walking w/ your bike sitting on the side of the road.


Run w/ the valve on "on". When you get the running out of gas stutter, switch it to reserve, and head to the gas station.

I'm just going to point out of the obvious here, if you were on "reserve" and it started stuttering, well, you are out of gas, pull the choke and hope you make it to the gas station.

cool. i understand. Rode the bike for about half an hour today and get back to the house, rev in neutral and the thing sounds like its gonna die out for a sec then catches and revs. what the heck! can too much oil cause this if the bike was runing with a quart less when i got it??
