Default Not sure what happened

Wen't to ride my bike to work this morning, first ride of the season. Had it out yesterday, fired it up, changed oil, checked everything over and it was fine. Get it out today, fire it up and let it warm up then head out. Get about 2 miles away and realize that I forgot to strap my helmet so pull over to buckle that up, then start back down the road. All of a sudden the engine gets real loud, over powering the exhaust, and has a serious lack of power, almost like it suddenly went down to 2 cylinders. It kept running and I rode it home but had to jump in my truck and drive to work so didn't have a chance to look at it, I tried to feel if there was a loose plug wire but couldn't tell, don't think there was. Any ideas? Anyone have this happen before? I'll probably have chance to look at it tomorrow, just pisses me off, first damn ride! At least I didn't get any further away.

i'm no pro or anything i'm still learning but i would check compression in all cylinders for broken rings if compression is good maybe a spun crank berring but don't hold me to it i would ask someone who really knows what they are doing.but you can check for compression yourself

check the spark plugs and cables first and if they are ok check the carburators I don't believe is that big of a problem like rings or berrings

Fixed! The plug wires were all attached good but when I tore it down I found that one of the plugs itself had come loose, completely spun out of place. Weird, tightened them all back down and runs fine now!
