hello everyone, i purchased a 94 900rr with a spun bearing about a month ago and just finished an engine swap. my problem now is that on the first test ride it seemed really hard to shift, and it also pops out of what seems like every gear but first. when i had the oil pan off everything in the tranny looked good. i used the old clutch from the original motor, which was working fine when it was in there. a friend of mine cleaned the clutch plates for me and when we put them back in the basket they seemed really hard to push on, also the clutch got really hot after only 5 minutes of riding. i am wandering if this stems from a clutch problem or a bent shift shaft maybe? any suggestions? thanks...
