i have a 1999 cbr 900 i just put a motor from a 1997 cbr 900 and the speedo dosnt work. it plugs in the wires are the same colors. the speedo on the 99 is a pick up type in the case. the one on the 97 is on the side of the chaine cover. do i have to use the speedo head from the 97 please help me thanks.
