Hey man been riding my bike for almost a year now and my needle usually stays in the middle even when at lights in 85 degree weather. I've even been stuck in almost 90 degree muggy August Michigan weather on I-75 for a full hour and 15 minutes because of a lane closure and it did get hot but never all the way to the right. Usually whenever the needle gets more towards hot vs. middle the fan turns on. Hopefully this helps man and good luck!
