Default New to CBR's

Hey guys,
Hope you can help me out. I just traded my GSXR750 for a 97 CBR900. It seems to have a few problems. The throttle sticks open and it ticks like crazy at about 4-6k. I am hoping someone else has had these problems. Ive read through some of your info and everyone seems to have the best way to change the CCT. Well how do you know the CCT is what is making the noise. I havent seen anything on diagnosing the CCT vs valve noise or bottom end noise. And when the throttle doesnt spring back into the closed position is that normally the cable or the carb. Thanks a bunch.

My 99 had the same problem, The grip had slid down and would drag on the bar end. How many miles on the RR, It may be due for a valve adjustment. Mine made noise from new till the first adjustment at 16K, Then it was all good
