New to the 'Blade
Hi,
thought I should drop in and say hi to this part of the forum as I have just added a '98 blade to my stable. Up until October last year I had a '93 CBR1000F which I sold with 97,000 miles on the clock.
I couldn't find anything in the Honda stable that felt like a replacement for that so I bought a ZZR1100 which I have been riding ever since. In the meantime my partner has a CBR600F. Anyway felt like adding a sport bike to the stable and bought a '98 blade at the weekend.
Here's he is with my other half on it.

i usually catch most of the posts in this section and somehow this one snuck by,,
congratulations beautiful bike and welcome to the forum...
i hope you enjoy your new ride, many people once they own one of these older blades either have fond memories of them or find themselves looking for another one to make more memories on..
keep your carbs clean and battery charged and you'll get at least a hundred thousand miles out of this honda too!!
i think theres a guy in the six hundred section who has a quarter of a million miles on his bike with just normal maintenance.. and thats why i love hondas..
if you need any advice just ask.. there are still plenty of people here who still have your exact model year and know that bike inside out..

nope, but when people find themselves having a hard time starting these old gals, thats exactly where you want to start.. especially the crappy fuel our government has been forcing on us these days, it tends to gel up quick if it sits too long..
like anything else i suppose, the more active the better.
again love the mint looking ride!!i hope u enjoy it..
