Did your gsxr have fuel injection? I think with carbs we get a bit different throttle response. My bike is a bit sensative on the throttle as well, at least that is in comparison to my friends 04 1krr and 04 duc 749. Someone with more wrenching exp will have to let us know about this one.

no the gixxer was carbed also but it was over jetted a bit i think, this one just seems to slam the gears kinda hard, very jerky down low.

very nice..luv the wheels...i think you should leave the bike as is. I have a 98, and to me it does look like some of the gixxers that are out there. You should notice a difference on how it rides. To me, gixxers have more of a lean, and honda's are more comfortable to ride.;;let us know what u think

i love this bike alot, its way more peppy then the gixxer. very smooth ride once your moving along. thanx for the wheel compliment i heard that are custom chrome ones so i am gonna leave them as is. i dont know if i like that front end too much so we will have to see about leaving it or not. what does it cost about to get a new upper fairing and light assemble anyway?
