Direct replacement is the improved part# OEM Honda.
Just be sure it has the finned heatsink, to verify it is the upgrade.
Some of your other options are
after-market (new replacement)... Rick's or Electrosport.
Other make/models/manufacturers...
r/r's are not particularly specific, so a lot of folks use the
GSXR 600-750-900 as a replacement.
You might need to do a change
on the connection but pretty much any decent r/r with a finned heat-sink will work.
I would stick with a similar displacement or greater, since electrical demands
go up somewhat with engine size.
