Default Motor need in the midwest!!!

Same old story, My 94 900rr starts great no problems untill 2nd gear about 5grand and it slips back into neutreal. AGHHH!!! Nothing more fustrating than that! Does anyone have a motor that will fit and is some where close to Kansas City MO. I would rather not spend the $ on shipping if possible.I need my bike bad,please hurry. Or hit me at bigjblake on the hotmail. Thanks

Ummm can't you just fix it instead of replacing the entire motor?

The est. I got are about $1,400-1500 I figure I can get a used engine for much less than that. What cha think?

DAMN whats wrong with it? You can almost rebuild an entire motor for that.

i have a 94 RR engine in my F2 that was doing the same thing..that is just your 2nd gear shift fork(L). i just did mine took about 3 hours and 90.00.. no biggie.. check some of my post there is a write up that i did on how to do it.. also F2 shift forks are the same as used in the 893 RR's.

you will need the shift fork, clutch nut, gaskets (oil pan,clutch cover) and oil..
